Activities and Studies.

Miguel De Hoyos begun his musical studies when he was eleventh years old in the City of Monterrey, where he was born. In 1974 he entered to the music school of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, at the age of 14. He gave his first important concert at sixteen years old. In 1986 he made a specialization in the post-grade studies division in the Universidad Regiomiontana, in the major of Lic. In Music.
He also got the musical influence from his father, his first teacher and knowledge from: Severo Barrera, Rafael Stringel and others.

Apart from his activity as a concertist, Miguel de Hoyos is recognized as arranger and musical director in various programs that involve professional musicians and singers under his direction.
